Beautiful and rare 3-piece lighting set from West Germany, manufactured by Gebrüder Kaiser Leuchten and attributed to the design language of Richard Essig, circa 1970.
The set consists of a pendant lamp and two matching table lamps, featuring characteristic spherical shades made of heavy pressed glass. The glass spheres feature a richly textured crystal-like relief with matte oval accents, a design that aligns strongly with the Space Age aesthetic of the late sixties and early seventies.
When the lamps are lit, a particularly atmospheric play of light is created, in which the cut glass refracts the light in a brilliant manner. The combination of transparent relief glass, satin ovals, and high-gloss chrome fixtures gives the set a luxurious and timeless appearance.
The lamps are in exceptionally good original condition:
Glass completely intact, without chips, cracks, or restorations.
Chrome in very fine condition with minimal signs of use.
Original parts present.
Tested and working.
Original manufacturer's sticker present. Only slight signs of age on the suspension chain of the pendant lamp.
A particularly attractive and increasingly hard-to-find complete set, originating from the heyday of German design lighting. Due to the matching design, this set is perfectly suited for a stylish vintage, mid-century, or Space Age interior.
