Table setting comprising a rectangular placemat and matching square napkin, attributed to the prestigious D. Porthault company.
An ideal set for a summer table or a festive meal.
This linen belonged to my grandmother, who carefully preserved it for special occasions. It has remained in remarkable condition and now deserves to grace a beautiful table setting for a second life.
Hand-embroidered with two blue and purple irises and their foliage. The shading is very precise (needle painting technique). Hand-stitched Venetian lace trims the entire edge of the placemat and napkin.
100% superior quality white linen thread with a beautiful drape.
The linen is pristine and clean, visibly unused (no stains or storage discoloration).
Note: No label or tag, but the quality of workmanship fully meets the standards of the D. Porthault company.
