The Belleville Plastic Armchair was designed by designer duo and brothers Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the beautiful brand Vitra. The designers' studio, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, is located in a vibrant Parisian neighborhood called Belleville. The lively atmosphere of this district and the classic French bistro furniture served as a source of inspiration for the Belleville chair... and it shows!
The Belleville Chair is constructed from two parts: a frame and a seat shell. The slender black frame supports a very thin shell that tapers from the wide seat surface into a narrow backrest.
