This 60 x 30 cm work depicts the artist himself looking at a self-portrait as a soldier by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner.
The work dates from 2025 and was created using acrylic on panel. Signed on the front and back, it comes with an artist's label and a certificate of authenticity.
About the artist
Gerard Boersma has been an internationally acclaimed artist for over 25 years, known for his colorful and detailed realistic painting style, in which he expresses both his concerns and his love for contemporary society. His art can be found in museums, galleries, and private collections worldwide (6 continents, >35 countries). In 2018, he exhibited his work alongside Warhol, Haring, Banksy, and others in a group exhibition in France. He lives and works in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.
