Rare. This Seccose coat rack, an Italian-made piece dating from the 1980s, embodies the bold and functional aesthetic of that decade.
Its distinctive design, characterized by a bright yellow central column molded with geometric grooves, rests on a stable, solid, conical base. It is a masterpiece of postmodern design. The sculptural silhouette and primary colors recall the influence of the Memphis movement, so prevalent in furniture of that era.
Made primarily of metal and plastic, this freestanding coat rack measures 176.5 cm in height. It features multiple black hooks with rounded protectors, arranged in a star pattern at the top, offering ample hanging capacity.
The circular black base, weighted for stability, is topped with a cup-like receptacle, ideal for umbrellas, complemented by a retaining ring halfway up.
