Origin: France
Dating: 1880-1910
Description: A very rare and antique screw-top carafe (or ice carafe) dating from the early 20th century.
Materials: Glass & pewter
Markings engraved on the screw: "Patented SGDG" (Without Government Guarantee) and "Registered Trademark ER" surrounding a rose, inscribed within a diamond.
No cracks or chips. Signs of wear to the pewter parts. The seals are worn, and the carafe is therefore no longer watertight.
Dimensions: Total height: 28 cm / Base diameter: 10 cm / Capacity of the lower container: 1 L
