This is a set of two glass vases produced by Schott Studio in the 1970s or 1980s. The design is characterized by a minimalist, rounded shape typical of the Space Age aesthetic of that period.
The vases are crafted from opal glass, with a bright white finish on the exterior. A striking detail is the contrasting orange interior, which is subtly visible at the opening and shines through the glass at the decorative indentation on the side. This use of color gives the objects a playful and graphic character.
The set is in very neat condition, with the original luster of the material well preserved. The vases showcase the craftsmanship of the glassblower and carry the authentic appearance of their production period.
This set looks excellent in a retro or eclectic interior. They can be displayed as functional vases or as standalone decorative objects on a sideboard or in an open shelving unit. Large vase is numbered 174, height 30 cm and width 19 cm.
Smaller vase is numbered 198, height 24 cm and width 19 cm.
