Textured, modernist lighting in sculptural cast glass and nickel.
Designed by Julius Theodor Kalmar and first presented in the 1972 Kalmar catalog, the Schalmei wall lamp—often referred to as the 'Ice Block' model—perfectly exemplifies the Viennese brand's signature combination of luxurious materials and architectural forms. The lamp features a deeply textured, embossed glass diffuser mounted on a nickel-plated metal frame.
The hand-finished glass evokes a sense of frozen movement and diffuses the light with a crystal-clear glow. Behind the glass are three E14 sockets, which provide even and atmospheric illumination.
