A striking Swedish Art Deco pendant milk glass lamp with striking blue details, produced in the 1930s, exemplifying the elegance in shapes and bold contrasts between the white milk glass and the blue parts characteristic of the period. This sculptural light is a true statement piece, combining geometry and refined craftsmanship. The generously scaled upper part of the glass shade has a standing rhombus shape which ends with tiered shaped edges in various shades of azure blue, creating depth and visual softness when illuminated. Above, a perfectly spherical element pendant lamp provides a sleek counterpoint, reinforcing the lamp’s distinctly Deco silhouette and sense of balance. Both dramatic and inviting, this lamp is ideally suited for a living room, hallway, or entryway, where it creates a welcoming atmosphere while serving as a strong focal point. Condition: Very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the glass. The lamp has been newly rewired and is currently fitted with a plug suitable for Sweden and most EU countries. The metal part at the top has been polished. It uses E27 screw bulbs.
