Saturn SMC Boxford – Space Age Penta Table Lamp
Iconic vintage "Saturn" Shell Electric UFO halogen table lamp, in the style of Robert Sonneman for George Kovacs.
Bring the magic of the Space Age era into your home, a true Mid-Century Modern design icon. The lamp features a UFO-shaped glass shade with an elegant black brushed metal frame, inspired by the planet Saturn.
A thick glass ring encircles the beautifully openworked dome-shaped diffuser, symbolizing Saturn’s rings. The whole structure rests gracefully on three straight pillars mounted on a matte black enameled zinc base.
The light intensity is adjustable via a retro-style rotary dimmer located at the center of the base. When lit, the lamp emits a warm, atmospheric glow – a true eye-catcher in any vintage or modern interior.
