Satsuma-style decorative ceramic vase made in China in the 1970s by The Great Wall, a well-known Chinese export brand. The Satsuma style is recognizable by its ivory-colored background with craquelure, rich floral decorations, gold-relief motifs, figurative scenes with figures in traditional dress, and abundant use of gold and warm colors. Made of glazed ceramic, with decorations partly in decalcomania, gold applied over the glaze.
