These Sapporo armchairs, designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in the 1970s, are a prime example of Italian design from that period. The design combines clean lines with soft, organic shapes. The gently curved backrest and generous seat provide a comfortable and inviting seating experience, while the angled legs emphasize the model's dynamism.
This version features the original, soft fabric with a subtle diagonal ribbed texture. The exposed wooden frame on the sides and under the seat underscores the craftsmanship and quality of the design. The wood shows some signs of wear and scratches, most noticeable on the back. One of the chairs has a stain on the fabric seat.
