Polychrome ceramic sculpture from the C.I.A. Manna factory in Turin, titled "Samara," dating back to the first half of the 1950s, depicting a young woman kneeling in a contemplative pose, her arms raised to gather her hair.
The body is modeled with sinuous lines, reminiscent of the feminine aesthetic typical of 1950s Italian art, still strongly influenced by Art Deco, with distinctive features of the finest figurative art from C.I.A. Manna, founded by Teresa Manna, a former collaborator of Lenci.
