Designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s, this cantilever chair marks a milestone of the Bauhaus era. The revolutionary construction dispenses with traditional rear legs, making the seat appear to float effortlessly in space. As an original from Thonet, the chair proudly bears the label of the renowned manufacturer. Cool, high-gloss chrome-plated steel tubing meets traditional Viennese cane weaving here. The black-framed wooden frame and elegant armrests complete the composition. The piece has been carefully cleaned and is presented in very good condition.
