Product description
This design armchair, was designed - late 1960s early 1970s - by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim for Rybo Rykken (Norway) and is also called a Kengu chair. The armchair consists of a black-stained, curved plywood frame a fabric seat held in place with leather straps. On top is a loose, comfortable seat cushion of green-colored leather and fabric backing. The version is with armrests of glued plywood covered with very dark green leather. The sprung legs of curved plywood ensure that this armchair is not only beautiful, but also comfortable to sit on.
We have a total of 2 of these chairs available. They are in good vintage condition, with signs of use befitting their age such as some superficial scratches and creases in the leather. At one of the cushions the leather is a bit pulled together in one place, see also last picture. Price is per chair.
