Product description
Original RY35 extendable dining table by RY Møbler, Denmark, manufactured in 1979. The design is characterized by the organically rounded edge of the tabletop, the elegant cross base, and the well-thought-out extension system that allows the table to be easily adapted to different groups. This version is crafted from solid oak and bears the original production date of July 3, 1979. When closed, the round table comfortably seats four to six people. With the original extension leaf, a spacious oval dining table is created that seats six to eight people. The table is offered with one original extension leaf. Additionally, a second matching extension leaf is available upon request, sourced from a later production model. Because this leaf visibly differs in color and wood grain, it was decided to present the table in the version that aesthetically best aligns with the original design. The table is in very neat vintage condition and has been professionally restored while preserving the original patina. As a result, the table appears warm, authentic, and lively, without losing its history. The extension mechanism functions smoothly, and the table is completely stable. The construction is completely stable and the extension mechanism functions as intended. Upon closer inspection, slight movement is visible at the central leg structure, consistent with the age of the furniture. Dimensions are as follows: height 71 cm, diameter 120-170 cm. Carefully selected vintage design. Professionally restored where necessary, with respect for the original design, craftsmanship, and materials used.
