This coffee table is a design by Rudolf Bernd Glatzel for the Dutch furniture manufacturer Fristho Franeker. It is a characteristic piece from the mid-century period. The design stands out due to the elegant combination of materials and the clean, architectural lines typical of his work.
The table features a clear glass top resting on a sculptural base of curved rosewood and chrome-plated metal. The construction demonstrates craftsmanship, where the wood and metal come together seamlessly with visible, decorative screws.
