An elegant and highly architectural sculptural candle holder produced by Rosenthal Studio-Line, executed in glossy black and crystal-clear glass. Combining geometric precision with optical play, the object reflects Rosenthal’s distinctive late-20th-century approach to luxury decorative design: minimalist, technically refined, and sculptural enough to function as an autonomous art object.
The cylindrical form is rhythmically interrupted by diagonal transparent crystal sections that appear to spiral around the body, creating a dynamic visual tension between opacity and lightness. Depending on perspective and illumination, the candle holder alternates between monolithic black sculpture and luminous optical object.
