Rosenthal Studio-Line Geometric Bowl Set by Hans Theo Baumann – Set of Four Porcelain Bowls, Germany, 1960s–1970s
A striking set of four matching porcelain bowls designed by Hans Theo Baumann for Rosenthal Studio-Line, one of the most influential collaborations in post-war German design.
Combining precise geometry, graphic pattern, and vibrant colour, these bowls perfectly embody the modernist optimism that made Rosenthal Studio-Line an international benchmark for contemporary design. Their crisp square silhouette frames a soft turquoise interior, while the exterior walls are decorated with Baumann's distinctive black geometric pattern, creating a fascinating visual dialogue between structure and ornament.
The result is unmistakably modern: architectural yet playful, minimalist yet decorative.
