Architect, sculptor, and designer, Arad made his mark in the 1980s with his ability to blur the lines between art and furniture. This chair perfectly illustrates this experimental approach: a statement piece, both radical and sensual.
The chromed steel tube structure creates a graphic framework of great purity. The lines bend, stretch, and extend seamlessly, forming a volume that is both light and structured.
The seat, composed of slats sheathed in black rubber, plays on tension and flexibility to conform to the body with surprising comfort.
