Product description
Saturn table lamp, an iconic postmodern design by the American Robert Sonneman, featuring a dimming function (rotary knob in the center of the base disc). This specific lamp was produced in the 1980s and 1990s by manufacturers such as George Kovacs (USA) and SMC Boxford Holland (Europe).
Design: The lamp is known for its futuristic "Space Age" or UFO-like appearance, inspired by the rings of the planet Saturn.
Materials: The frame is made of chrome- or brass-colored metal with a thick, transparent glass disc.
Light source: The lamp often uses a dimmable R7S halogen bulb, which spreads a warm, diffused light through the glass disc.
Dimensions: The height is 47 cm, with a glass disc diameter of 32 cm.
