Well maintained dining room table made of American walnut wood.
Riva 1920 rectangular dining room table handcrafted from American walnut in Italy. 240 cm length x 100 cm width x 75 cm height. In addition to the very nice thickness of the top (5cm), the dining table is reinforced on the ends with cast iron plates.
"It all started in 1920 in Cantù, in the heart of Brianza, in a small family-run artisan workshop founded by Nino Romano and specialized in the production of solid wood furniture in classical style. In the mid-1940s he went to Mario Riva laboratory, which continued the activity of his father-in-law. The brothers Maurizio and Davide Riva followed in the footsteps of their father and grandfather and at the end of the 70s they started working as carpenters in the shop under the house, dedicating themselves to custom-made furniture. A traditional process of improving natural wood begins through the use of completely natural waxes and oils, a distinctive feature of Riva 1920. In 1987, the first production unit is inaugurated and sister Anna joins the company. In 1992, Riva 1920 presented its furniture collection for the first time at the Milan International Furniture Fair."
