Dutch modernist design armchair designed by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Cirkel. This armchair is called model Oase and is made of black lacquered sheet steel, steel legs and Bakelite armrests. This armchair has been reupholstered with a green upholstery fabric. The chair is 76 cm high, 59 cm wide and 71 cm deep. It has a seat height of 40 cm. When this chair was provided with new foam and upholstery, a sticker from the manufacturer with the date 28 February 1974 was found on the back plate. The armchair is in good vintage condition.
