Revolt chair, designed by Friso Kramer for De Cirkel/Ahrend.
Color is mustard.
Original chair, purchased by the family in the 1960s.
The Dutch designer Friso Kramer designed the Revolt chair in 1954 for the Dutch furniture factory De Cirkel. Instead of tubular material, Friso Kramer used sheet material in a U shape. This required less material and made the chair stronger. De Cirkel was later acquired by the Dutch office furniture manufacturer Ahrend.
