An iconic armchair, this Concorde lounge chair was designed in 1966 by Pierre Paulin for Artifort. The chair was originally designed for the waiting areas of the British-French supersonic Concorde aircraft. A simple and sleek lounge chair on a heavy metal sled base.
In the Netherlands, the lounge chair was nicknamed ‘de Kwek’ (the Quack), due to its shape reminiscent of a duck's beak.
These 2 units feature new internals and have been (very neatly) reupholstered in a mottled blue/purple wool fabric. In good condition with light signs of use on the base. The armchairs are offered separately and the price is per piece. Quantity: this item is unique and only 2 pieces in stock
