This design six-cascade pendant chandelier (type 68816/1), originating from the 1960s, represents a magnificent and highly representative example of Czechoslovak design production from the manufacturer Elektroinstala Jílové, embodying the characteristic spirit of the refined Mid-Century style. At first glance, the fixture immediately captures attention with its precisely designed and harmonious combination of materials, consisting of professionally cleaned blackened steel, ingeniously complemented by 6 crystal shades with a diameter of 9 cm. A great advantage of this piece is the ability to freely adjust the height of individual shades using wires. These chosen elements faithfully reflect the progressive artistic direction of the time, which placed a huge emphasis on clean geometric lines, timeless elegance, and absolute functionality in its creation.
The item has undergone thorough, highly sensitive, and professional care, which included comprehensive restoration and complete new electrification carried out in absolute compliance with applicable safety standards, including a professional revision of six E14 lamp sockets.
