Superb workshop stool from the 1950s-60s, signed L. Sautereau.
Very, very sturdy.
Patina over the original paint, partially sanded to reveal only the sound metal and the original paint. All sealed with wax.
Seat sanded, finished with a matte varnish and wax.
Rubber feet replaced.
Manufacturer's plate riveted underneath.
Very wide seat height adjustment range: from 55 to 80 cm.
Footbase: 40 x 40 cm.
