Antoni Tàpies’ “Reflecting on Dirt” (1978) is a powerful exploration of materiality and gesture, emblematic of the artist’s groundbreaking contribution to postwar abstraction. Executed as a color lithograph on delicate Japan nacre paper, this impression is especially rare: a hand-signed, dated, and inscribed “Bon à Tirer” proof, complete with registration stamps — making it a unique piece within the edition (cf.
