Beautiful vintage fat lava design vase, red, black and white glazed West Germany earthenware, by Bay Keramik, 1960s-70s, numbered 67-30 at the bottom.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the greatest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
