Stunning lounge chair model 56/2 designed by Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling for Gustav Bahus, Norway, 1954.
Very nicely sculptural lounge chair, also known as the ‘Bambi’. The design feautures a minimalistic frame with interesting shapes, giving this striking design its charm. The chair is made of solid teak wood and has a very nice cognac leather stitched seat and back with amazing patina. The chair is in very good original condition with normal wear from age and usage which is visible on the pictures. Magnificent piece of Norwegian design.
This particular chair has been part of the interior of a United Nations building and still has their tag underneath.
