Very rare and unique vintage commemorative beer mug from 1977.
For the true collector of breweriana and vintage beer memorabilia: a unique ceramic stoneware beer mug (Steinkrug). This mug was produced in 1977 in a very limited edition to commemorate the 10th anniversary (1967 - 1977) of the German inn/gaststätte "zum Hamburger".
Pilsner Urquell (with historical coat of arms and anniversary years) Budweiser Budvar ("10 Jahre" imprint on the other side) The two Czech giants: Pilsner Urquell and Budweiser (referring to the original Czech Budweiser Budvar, not the American variant) are the two most iconic and historically significant beer brands from the Czech Republic. Features:
Material: High-quality German stoneware / ceramic
Period: 1970s (Produced in 1977)
Base mark: Marked with the letter 'B' on the base. This is the factory mark of the well-known German earthenware manufacturer Boch Frères (or the Bodo Mans / Bay Keramik factory).
Local anniversary: Because the mug was specifically made for the 10th anniversary of one specific German pub ("zum Hamburger"), the production run was very small at the time. This increases its historical rarity. High collectible value of the brands: Both Pilsner Urquell and the original Czech Budweiser are highly prized among enthusiasts of breweriana (beer brewery collectibles). The fact that both top brands appear on a single mug makes it unique.
