A unique and rarely available spaghetti stool/footstool, designed by Giandomenico Belotti for Alias (Italy) in the 1980s. In 1979, he began designing a collection (see the last, second photo, with a nod to Mondrian as well) that eventually became part of the MoMA collection in New York. "An incredibly long strand of spaghetti twisted around a fork" is how Belotti described his design for the spaghetti chair. This one dates from the early 1980s. As you can see, it has some rust spots here and there; if you value that, you could repaint the frame. We have left it completely original so you can decide what you want to do with it: leave it as is or refinish it. We have been unable to determine whether the imitation leather cushion was sold as an accessory at the time; it is also made in Italy (labeled). It is included in the price. Serious offers are always considered. The item will be shipped by us, including insurance. See the rates for each country. We work with our own parcel delivery service providers. If your country isn't listed, please contact us.
