Description
For the enthusiast and collector of iconic design: a Times Solid State "Sputnik" Transistor Radio (Model SR-7), made in Japan (late 1960s / early 1970s).
While you occasionally come across this futuristic sphere model separately, this particular example is extremely rare thanks to the presence of the original box *and* the styrofoam inlays. Most packaging has been lost over the past 50+ years, making this a unique find.

With original packaging: Includes the cardboard outer box and the original styrofoam ("Japan") inner mold.
Beautiful optical condition: Nice, clear plastic globe, sleek gold-colored base, and neat knobs (Volume & Tuning).
