A unique and collectible set of four figurative sculptures by Dutch artist Corry Ammerlaan-van Niekerk (born 1947).
Set includes:
• 2 x standing girl with a stuffed animal
• 1 x standing girl with her hands behind her back
• 1 x reading girl (Sophie)
The figurines are crafted from bronzed metal/bronze-colored alloy and are part of the well-known Sophie series. The repetition of the girl with the stuffed animal fits within the serial nature of Ammerlaan's work and enhances their value as a collection.
Each sculpture depicts a tranquil, recognizable moment from everyday life—love, care, introspection, and growth—crafted in her characteristically expressive and understated style.
