Rare and completely original lamp from the renowned Kamenický Šenov glassworks in the Czech Republic.
Designed by: Jaroslav Bejvl
The lamp is constructed of heavy, pressed crystal glass panels with deeply cut star and sun patterns, attached to a metal frame with nickel-plated metal clamps.
This design exemplifies the masterful glass craftsmanship for which Kamenický Šenov is internationally renowned: an interplay of light, clarity, and geometry typical of Eastern European modernism of the 1960s.
The entire piece is in excellent original condition, with no cracks or chips in the glass, and all components are authentic and functional.
A beautiful, understated yet luxurious eye-catcher above a dining table or in a modern interior.
