Stunning table lamp by Fritz Pendorff from the 1950s-60s, Bauhaus style. It is possible that this lamp was manufactured slightly earlier (around 1940-50, although we are not certain). The lamp is marked (EMVT Leipzig) on the base and is made of Bakelite, the very first synthetically manufactured plastic. The color of the base is somewhat dark brownish with lighter brown spots. This lamp presumably has an aluminum shade. This lamp will be shipped insured and excellently packed. Can be shipped to non-EU countries, such as the United Kingdom/UK; additional costs will then be charged to you. Please allow for light signs of use, as this is a vintage item over 60 years old. Additional dimensions (always approximate): 23-42 cm high (depending on position), base diameter is 17 cm, shade diameter is 19 cm, shade height 24 cm.
