Important French Art Deco Center Table, circa 1930-1935
A rare period French Art Deco center table (circa 1930-1935), crafted from walnut and walnut veneer, with a circular black lacquered top resting on four elegant arched legs joined by a lower shelf.
Its generous proportions (90 cm in diameter and 67 cm high) make it a true living room table, more sought after than the small side tables common during this period.
The piece features high-quality traditional construction (mortise and tenon joinery, workshop marks engraved under the top in Roman numerals), characteristic of Parisian workshops in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine district. Its design evokes the creations of Maison Dominique and furniture in the style of Jules Leleu.
Condition: very good condition, beautiful antique patina, perfectly stable structure. The top has an elegant black finish, consistent with the Art Deco aesthetic. Dimensions
Diameter: 90 cm
