A rare Bauhaus/Art Deco chandelier designed by Franta Anýž in the 1930s. The piece has been beautifully re-polished and is in excellent condition — a small dent from a screw is visible in one of the photos, otherwise the nickel surface is clean and bright. The opaline glass diffuser is in perfect, undamaged condition. The fixture has been newly rewired for safe modern use, with two independent circuits: 3+1xE27 sockets allowing three different lighting moods from a single fixture. Original white paint inside and on the upper side with a rich, attractive patina — a lovely reminder of the piece's age and authenticity, hidden from view when installed. A wonderful, versatile lighting piece that bridges Bauhaus functionality with Art Deco elegance. Ref: MaPr 455 9
