A striking DS-125 sofa by German designer Gerd Lange for de Sede, crafted in the 1980s. The voluminous upholstery and softly rounded lines lend the sofa a powerful presence, while the dark brown, natural leather gives it an elegant patina and timeless appeal. The side panels form the iconic, diagonally folded profile, giving the sofa a dynamic tension and maximum stability. The back displays the model's characteristically clean structure, minimalist yet distinctive – a true statement piece of the 1980s and a rare collector's item from de Sede's design history.
Condition: Well-preserved with a beautiful, age-appropriate patina on the leather, some minor pressure marks and signs of wear, but no tears. Upholstery intact, leather clean and well-maintained. Overall appearance authentic and inviting.
