Price for lamp including shade
This exceptional vintage table lamp is from Goebel's PAN ceramic collection and is a striking example of experimental ceramic design from the 1970s. Its sculptural form, with two large oval openings, appears both futuristic and organic – typical of the expressive Space Age aesthetic of that era.
The intense red-orange glaze possesses remarkable luminosity and changes its appearance depending on the light and viewing angle. The interplay between the softly rounded shape and the clear graphic elements of the lampshade is particularly beautiful.
The lampshade has been newly crafted and covered with a high-quality fabric in warm orange and natural tones. When illuminated, the abstract sunburst pattern creates a very warm and atmospheric light, harmonizing beautifully with the vibrant ceramic glaze.

The lamp has its original wiring with an E27 socket. The electrical components have been tested and are functional. However, as this is a vintage lamp from the 1970s, no guarantee can be given for its functionality or electrical safety. I recommend having the lamp checked by a qualified electrician before permanent use.
PAN ceramics was a design line by Goebel that stood for particularly experimental ceramic designs in the 1960s and 70s. Unlike the classic Goebel series, this line produced expressive lamps and ceramic objects with a strong Space Age and Fat Lava influence. Today, many PAN models are among the most sought-after design objects of this era.
PAN ceramics were a design line by Goebel that stood for particularly experimental ceramic designs in the 1960s and 70s. The design language of this lamp is also clearly reminiscent of designs from the circle of Cari Zalloni, who also worked for PAN Keramik and whose futuristic designs shaped the aesthetics of the 1970s. While there is no definitive proof of this specific model, stylistically the lamp clearly belongs to this design world.
An exceptional collector's item with a strong 1970s feel and a sculptural presence.
