A beautifully preserved example from the Schramberger Majolikafabrik (SMF) from the heyday of German Art Deco. This hand-painted tureen is executed in the rare and sought-after geometric pattern "Decor 3710". This design reflects the modernist shift of the early 1930s, strongly influenced by the Bauhaus school. The decor is characterized by a beautiful hand-painted contrast between sponged terracotta surfaces and clean blue and green lines. A must-have for lovers of German modernism and interwar ceramics.
