A stunning, 100% authentic Art Deco "skyscraper" tower stove manufactured around 1930 by the historic Belgian foundry Les Fonderies Bruxelloises (Fobrux Haren).
This specific Model No. 530 is an iconic example of interwar industrial design. Following the landmark 1925 Paris Exhibition, European designers became fascinated by early American skyscraper silhouettes. Fobrux captured this architectural phenomenon beautifully with the stove's strong vertical fluting, terraced stepped corners, and geometric crown.
Condition & Rare Features:
Vibrant Finish: The solid cast iron body is finished in a luxurious, glassy 'Bleu Majolique' (Majolica Blue) vitreous enamel. The enamel is in exceptional vintage condition with a beautiful glossy luster.
Intact Mica Windows: A major highlight for collectors—the incredibly fragile, original natural mica windows (marienglas) are completely intact inside the door frames. Finding these original panels unbroken after nearly a century is exceptionally rare.
Complete Interior: The firebox still retains its original internal slatted coal grate and refractory ceramic firebricks.
Styling Idea: While historically a wood/coal burner, today these architectural tower stoves are highly coveted as high-end interior statement pieces.
