A rare, large Limoges porcelain figure, white and translucent in the light, depicting a small seated child holding their knees. Stamped UC Limoges France - Union Céramique - circa 1910-1930, it would make a striking addition to a cabinet of curiosities or collector's item, possibly a limited edition (available upon request).
Approximately 20cm high by 9cm wide, with a maximum depth of 11cm. In very good condition with no notable flaws. The top of the head is unglazed (biscuit), unlike the rest of the body. It may have been a functional object, perhaps a doll's wig stand? Further investigation is needed. Approximately 120g.
