Antique metal street sign with raised lettering from Aabjergvej, a street in Copenhagen, c. 1920s. In November 1928, the street received its sign and was officially named Aabergvej after the field ‘Aabiergs Agrene.’ In 1948, the spelling was updated to Åberjergveg following the Danish language reform that introduced the latter å, and old street signs were replaced. In good vintage condition, with signs of patina (as seen in images) that reflect its age and heritage.
