Rare Alka Kunst Bavaria Covered Vase “Patricia” – Mid-Century Collector’s Item with Real Gold (circa 1950s/60s). For sale is an exceptionally beautiful and elegant porcelain covered vase from the renowned traditional manufacturer Alka Kunst Bavaria (Alboth & Kaiser, now known as Kaiser Porzellan) from the sought-after “Patricia” series. This vase is a true eye-catcher and a highly desirable collector’s item of German Mid-Century design. ✦ Special Features & Highlights: Complete Set with Original Lid: Most of the vases found today have lost or been damaged by the decades. Here you receive the vase complete with its original lid. Exquisite Color & Glaze Interplay: Deep, emerald green base design with a fine marble effect/crazing pattern. Magnificent Decoration: Hand-painted/finely crafted, opulent gilded chrysanthemum blossoms. Gilding: Brilliant, genuine gold trim on the edges and base, and an elegant, fully gilded lid knob. Stamped base mark: The underside bears the original green "alka Kunst BAVARIA" stamp with a crown, the gold lettering of the "Patricia" design, and the model number. ✦ Dimensions: Overall height (including lid): approx. 30 cm. Width (widest point): approx. 15 cm. ✦ Condition: Very good, well-maintained condition from a collector. No chips, no cracks, and the gilding is in excellent condition.
