Alliance ceiling lamp model P-1463 designed by the Raak design team for Raak in the 1970s.
Iconic vintage Raak "Alliance" ceiling lamp, designed by the Raak design team from Amsterdam in the 1960s/70s.
Features of the lamp
Design concept: The name "Alliance" (French for wedding ring) refers to the distinctive pattern of circles at the bottom.
The designers viewed this pattern as a rhythm of intertwined wedding rings.
Materials: The lamp features a round, black metal housing, an insert with radiant orange rings, and a textured (hammered) glass plate that ensures atmospheric light diffusion.
Versions: This model was released in various sizes at the time (including models P-1463 and P-1474), and is currently a beloved collector's item in the mid-century modern and space-age design world.
