About the designer
Giampaolo Babetto (b. 1947, Padua, Italy) is an internationally renowned artist and designer known for his precise, geometric language. Originally trained as a goldsmith, Babetto applies the same meticulous sense of proportion and craftsmanship to furniture and architecture. His collaborations with Pastoe and other European design houses bridge Italian formalism with Dutch restraint, resulting in timeless, contemplative works.
