Rare Dutch armchair with a spectacular and sculptural design.
This armchair is from the progressive Pro-Pos series by Hulmefa in Nieuw Pekela.
The most famous items from this series are the "Koehoor/Cowhorn chairs."
What many don't know is that, in addition to these chairs, Tijsseling, in collaboration with Hulmefa, also produced other furniture in the characteristic and then very progressive Pro-Pos series.
This type of armchair, with its superb design and beautiful details, can truly be called a Dutch Design Classic!
The finish, materials, and distinctive design, combined with the fact that this model is almost exclusively found in the Netherlands, make this armchair very rare and sought-after on the international market.
