An iconic pair of mid-century modern "Wire" chairs designed by Harry Bertoia for Knoll. Constructed from steel wire and assembled using traditional brass brazing techniques. Selected from a larger set of 4, these two chairs are the best preserved. The pair includes 2 original seat pads (one red, one blue), which are signed "Knoll" underneath, providing unquestionable proof of authenticity. 1950.
■ Condition & Details
Condition: Very good vintage condition with authentic patina.
Patina: Surface rust/oxidation is minimal on this specific pair. The original black paint has gracefully faded on friction areas, revealing the highly attractive golden brass brazing at the joints. Structurally flawless and visually striking.
