A characteristic finely speckled greyish to beige 'batik glaze', combined with an abstract, dark cut-out/line structure around the base of the large, flowing handle. The design stands out due to the organic and streamlined forms that were typical of Dutch earthenware and the innovative Art Deco ceramics of the 1930s. The beak-shaped spout flows elegantly into the bulbous body and the striking, dynamic handle. When shipped, the item is carefully packed to prevent damage.
